Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day Parade

January 15, 2018 @ 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm

Cannabis is a civil rights issue.  It doesn’t get talked about enough, but cannabis prohibition is used as a tool to imprison our minority population. It is one of the many reasons why cannabis should be legalized.  On Martin Luther King Jr. day CFL NORML wants to represent these facts to our community.  This is why we are marching in Tampa’s MLK Jr Day Parade.

Come and join us!

Don’t be late!  Parking is between 8am-11:30am and parking is limited.

The parade will start at 12pm sharp!

The City of Tampa’s Martin Luther King Day Parade is an exciting component of a week of activity, celebrating the life and legacy of Dr. King, and displaying the beautiful diversity and community spirit of the Tampa Bay Area. Thousands line the streets of a two-mile route winding through East Tampa beginning at Cuscaden Park and ending at Middleton High School. This parade gets bigger and better every year and attracts bands from as far away as Kingston, Jamaica. The 29th Annual City of Tampa Martin Luther King Day Parade will be held on Monday, January 15, 2018.

The MLK Day parade is family friendly, entertaining, and fun. It’s also an opportunity for the businesses, social and community groups that make this city strong to come out and be recognized while supporting a common cause. Come out early and grab a good spot!
